Banteay Meanchey: Prime Minister Hun Sen has asked Thailand to open four other border gates between the countries to facilitate transport of goods, trade and tourism sector.

During the inauguration of The Stung Bot-Ban Nong Ing Friedship Bridge and signing the railroad connection ceremony presided by Prime Minister Hun Sen and Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha, Cambodia’s Prime Minister asked Thailand’s Prime Minister to open four other border gates between the two countries, including Preah Vihear’s An Ses, Phnom Dey in Battambang, Thmor Da in Pursat and Chub Koki in Oddar Meanchey.

“Opening the border gates is the strategic cooperation of trade, peace, and investment of Cambodia’s border provinces. The volume of trade between Cambodia and Thailand now reached at $6 billion,” Cambodian Prime Minister said.
